STAR Academy (Random House/Doubleday). My debut novel, a middle-grade comedic action adventure set in a mysterious science academy, was released by Random House/Doubleday on September 15th, 2009. Film and television rights were recently optioned by DHX/Halifax Film Company.
Dark Secrets. (working title). Sequel to the second novel in the STAR Academy series, has just been ordered by Random House/Doubleday, September 2011.
You Kids Nowadays Have It So Easy. Essay to impart literacy and language concepts to middle-grade readers, slyly disguised as humour. Scholastic Books. 2009.
Battle of the Atlantic. Recently commissions by Scholastic to write a fact-based historical novel about a Canadian teenager fighting Nazi U-Boats during World War 2.

Finding Stuff Out. (TVO) Series co-creator, showrunner, writer, for 16 x half-hours of live-action & animated science-oriented comedy series, produced by Apartment 11 Productions.2010/2011. Airing January 2012.
League of Super Evil. (Cartoon Network, YTV, BBC) Writer, multiple episodes, for action/comedy series produced by Nerd Corps Entertainment. 2010.
TBA (Nerd Corps Entertainment) 2010. Creator of original series concept, bible and scripts for development phase.
Jimmy Two Shoes (Teletoon, Disney) 2010, 2009. Series co-creator, producer/story editor. Writer, seasons 1 & 2. Developed concept, bible, provided input on designs, boards, and leicas. Supervised writing staff and created promotional materials and episodes. Contributed consulting work to gaming project.
Flea-Bitten! Writer, multiple episodes, animated comedy series for Moody Street Kids, Melbourne, Australia. 2009-2010.
Cattle Call. Summerhill Entertainment & Rogers/CityTV. Creative producer/story editor of live-action sitcom demo episode, completed August, 2009.
Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister (CBC) 2009. Writer for guest host Alex Trebek (Jeopardy!) in youth-oriented live-action political game show.
D-Con (Summerhill Entertainment) 2009. Series co-creator, producer/writer on original documentary style series currently in development, that deconstructs strange but true crimes in the United States and Canada using the techniques of forensic psychology.
MetaJets (Cookie Jar Entertainment) 2008. Writer, multiple episodes of animated sci-fi action adventure series.
Five Boys and A Garden Hose (Core Digital, Disney) 2008. Story Editor/producer. Developed series concept, bible, characters and wrote pilot episode for animated children’s comedy series in development.
Magi Nation (Cookie Jar Entertainment, W-B Kids, CBC) 2007. Writer, multiple episodes, tween action adventure series.
Lost In Montreal (Redwood Films/Shaftesbury) 2007. Currently in development (second draft stage) of an original romantic comedy feature film optioned by Redwood Films (U.K.) as an intended U.K./Canada co-production.
Royal Canadian Air Farce (CBC) 2007. Freelance contributor for multiple episodes, writing satirical informational pieces concerning current events.
Fright Club (Nelvana) 2007. Story Editor. Developed tween comedy series, revised series bible and characters, and wrote scripts.

Meteor and the Mighty Monster Trucks (Discovery Kids, TLC) 2005. Writer for 3-D preschool animated series about a group of child-like talking monster trucks.
What It’s Like Being Alone (CBC) 2005. Supervising producer and writer on seven half-hour episodes of stop-motion animated young adult comedy series.
Mischief City (YTV) 2004. Writer, two episodes for season two. Shaftesbury.
Habbo Hotel. 2004. Consultant for web-to-television project.
Being Ian (YTV) – 2004. Writer, one half-hour episode. Produced by Studio B Productions for YTV (Finalist 2006 Canadian Screenwriting Awards).
Rick Mercer’s Talking to Americans (CBC) 2003. Contributing writer, political satire.
Cracking Up (CTV) – 2003. Creator/writer of made-for-television movie depicting the life of bipolar disorder survivor Derek Wilken, who used standup comedy to triumph over his mental illness and created the innovative CHEERS comedy program as out-patient therapy.
I Dig BC (CBC) 2003. Co-producer, director and writer of a half-hour mockumentary sketch com special satirizing contemporary West Coast Canadian life. Cast the actors, supervised all post-production, voice records and music. Received nominations for two Leo Awards for Best Director and Best Comedy Writing.
My Dad The Rock Star (Teletoon, M6 France) 2002. Story producer for 13 half-hour episodes of Gene Simmon’s animated tween comedy series. Created the series bible, wrote episodes, story edited, led writing seminars and comedy tutorials for Nelvana staff writers and was responsible for creative liaison with the broadcasters.
The Itch (Comedy Network) 2001. Producer and head writer for all 13 half-hour episodes of entertainment “news” magazine parody, starring Jason Jones (The Daily Show) and Jessica Holmes (Royal Canadian Air Farce).
Olliver’s Adventures (Teletoon, ABC, POP! [U.K.]) 2001. Co-created the series, wrote all bible and promo materials of comedy series. Supervised boards, leicas, and voice record sessions. Wrote and was creative producer of the pilot episode, which won a Gemini Award for Best Animated Program. Story edited scripts for season one. Created characters, scenarios and concepts used in website.
This Hour Has 22 Minutes (Salter Street Films/CBC) 1996 to 2000 (seasons 4 through 7). Writer and producer on a total of 88 half-hour episodes of satirical news and current events sketch com series. Created and edited sketches, supervised art department, and hair, makeup and wardrobe. Was field producer/director of live action remote segments. Supervised voice records and music recording sessions. Also created original music. Awards: International Emmy nomination, 3 Gemini Awards, 3 Canadian Comedy Awards, 1 Canadian Screenwriting Award.

The Roaches. Animated teen/young adult half-hour comedy series in the social/political satire genre. Series bible and pilot script available.
Beating the Odds (Telefilm) – Creator/writer, darkly satirical live-action comedy feature in development stage (first draft funded by Telefilm).
Dicks. Live-action half-hour comedy series based on the misadventures of real-life private investigators. Series bible and two scripts available.
Deathstones. Live-action psychological horror feature currently in development stage.
